Join us at the Canadian Tire Triangle Gym for our highly requested, beginner pickleball program! Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned participant, there's something for everyone. Beginner Pickleball

Exemption Dates: November: 21 and 28, December: 26, January 9, February 20 and 27

  • Thursdays from 11:00am-1:00pm on select dates throughout November and December
  • $5.00 per session, per person
  • Players must be 18 years or older to participate.
  • Beginner level, new players to the sport, instruction is not provided
  • 2 courts will be set up using nets and existing badminton lines
  • Balls will be provided, bring your own paddle, or paddles available to rent for $2.00 (subject to availability)
  • Each game will be 10 minutes.
  • 20 player capacity per session
Public Skate-
Exemption Dates: Dec 3, 24 and 31
  • Tuesday's from 11:15am-12:15pm on select dates throughout November and December
  • Senior 55+/Youth $3.50
  • Adult $4.00
  • All children aged 12 and under must be supervised on and off the ice by an adult.
  • Refrain from carrying children on the ice.
  • No food, drink, headsets, cell phones or handheld electronic devices are permitted on the ice surface or players' benches.
  • You must wear skates while on the ice surface.
  • Chairs, sleds, pylons, hockey sticks, pucks and other obstructions are not permitted on the ice surface.
  • Alcoholic beverages, illegal substances and anyone under the influence will not be permitted on the premises.
  • You must adhere to the directions of arena staff members.
  • Report all accidents or injuries to arena staff members immediately.
  • Please skate at a sensible speed.
  • No horseplay is permitted.
  • No chain skating is permitted. No more than two people are permitted to hold hands.
  • Do not throw ice or snow.
  • Do not sit on the boards.
  • Profanity and improper behaviour are not permitted
Stick and Puck-
Exemption Dates: Dec 3, 24 and 31
  • Tuesday's from 12:45pm-1:45pm
  • $5.00 Adult
  • $3.00 Adult with a child/children (Max 2 children per adult)
  • Children must be preschool aged
  • Maximum two children per adult
  • Parents or caregivers must be 18 years of age or older and must always supervise their child on the ice
  • Full hockey equipment and a CSA approved helmet is mandatory for children
  • Adults are required to wear a helmet, gloves, and skates
  • Slap shots and organized games or practices are not permitted
  • Profanity and improper behaviour will not be permitted
  • Report all accidents or injuries to arena staff members immediately
  • No headsets, cell phones or handheld electronic devices are to be used while skating
  • All participants must wear skates while on the ice surface
  • Alcoholic beverages, illegal substances, or anyone under the influence will not be permitted on the premises.
Cancellations:
  • The building may need to cancel the facility programming for maintenance, holidays, tournaments, or special events. We will do our best to post this information ahead of time online and in-person at the facility.
